Rise Up

Rise,
Rise up when the world is against you
Rise up like a queen,
Proud, chin up and standing strong.
Rise up like flames in a fire,
Burning, proud and neverending.
Rise up like a bird,
Flying high, higher than everyone, soaring.
But most of all rise up like a phoenix,
Burning bright, rising from the ashes born anew.
Learning from your mistakes, there is always a way to start over.
Author Notes: This poem is about rising up even if the world or even your best friend is against you. It is about not giving up and reaching your goals even if this means to start over.
