Snowstorm

By TheForgotten

Tonight I'm sitting in my room, blinds open, lights off watching the bright sky send flurries of soft snow to the ground. The cold is radiating from the image, the snowflakes melting on the window trying their best to stick. It feels peaceful even though I know tomorrow I will be angry at the ice on my car window.

It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that the previous night I'd been sitting outside watching the stars, warmth enveloping me. And now, I'm here, watching a snowstorm. What would I be doing now if it was still nice outside? It's impossible to know, for it all happens for a reason. Tonight, I was meant to watch the snow falling, each snowflake burning bright in the ray of street lights. It's a weird thing seeing the night sky turn white.
