tear stains

I lay in bed mouth covered

warm salty tears streaming down my face

for once again I felt that pain that one can feel

the agonizing pain is indescribable

I wish someone can hold me and tell me it's gonna be okay

when mom comes into my room I close my eyes shut

so that doesn't have to witness my pain, softly says "I love you "

she kisses my forehead I know she knows

I wish I could tell her how it hurts, but that would just hurt her more

when she's gone I let it out

once again I feel the hot salty tears streaming down my face whilst my breath hitches
