Tears Against the Window

By Mitzi Danielson-Kaslik

The rain falls like tears against the window

They trickle down the glass and hide

Away in dark places never to be found

The tears seem different shades

As we pass through the countryside

Perhaps they are transparent

Or perhaps they seek to hide

By turning the same colour

So we never see what they truly are
