Thankful

Life can be hard,
Life can be tough,
Life with all its tedious events.
Life can involve competition,
Make us fall at every hurdle,
Life can be a succession of disappointments.
Life can be sorrowful,
Deaths and morbid experiences,
Yet that is how we all end up.
Life can be a bloody pain,
Yet somewhere deep inside
Should we not be thankful
That we are still living
Despite all the bullying
And discomfort,
Never to know when our last
Day has come,
So long as we still live,
Let us be thankful.
