THAT'S HOW I WAS LEFT

By Avantika Bhosle

I needed you bad,
But there was nothing I had,

All those things we did repeated in my dreams,
Teardrops rolling down my cheeks with all the pains and screams,

Because what I dream of has never come true,
At the end, I pray for the blessings to be with you,

You were the heart stealer,
You committed theft,
You were no more as a backbone, and that's how I was left.
