My family cheered as we watched the screen of our television. This day would go down in history, and we were proud to witness it. Our prayers have been answered. After all of our waiting, Apollo 11 has landed. It was a miracle. The astronauts had made it.
I looked around at all the smiling faces. My brother was smiling. My mom and son were too. All except for my five-year-old daughter.
I walked over to her and asked, “Is something wrong, sweetie?â€
With a pout, she answered, “Yes, of course, something is wrong.â€
“What is it?†I questioned.
She glared at me slightly and answered, “I just don’t get what the big deal is about a man who went to the moon when a cow already jumped over it.â€
