The Boy Who Cried Werewolf

By Anthony E

There was a boy who cried werewolf

And man came to his defense, it went like this:

.

It came out when the moon was full

Part man, part wolf, a savage ghoul

With razor-sharp fangs and cagey claws

Listen to its snapping jaws

Howls and runs and runs and howls

Through hills and streams and many miles

In dark woods, gnawing on deer

Menacing, moving near

Awakes at dawn in human shape

Much worse, a curse, it can't escape

Hunted by man with gun in hand

To duel and fight, one last stand

Defeated and fallen, eternal rest

With a silver bullet in its chest

Man and beast, both charged to die

The boy let out "A Werewolf" cry
