As the end of the year creeps closer
I am filled with many emotions
Joy for the end of drama and tears
And sorrow for the goodbyes to be said
To the contact that it scares me to lose
And to the separation from the friends that have become family
Also to the laughter and joy that has filled me
As we watched the year fly by
It will be different
To not see my friends every day
But I know that our friendship will last
So I can’t wait to fill another year
With classes, laughter, and smiles
And to watch our friendship grow through time
Because I know that this end is only the beginning
