The Eyes Within

You can tell a lot about a person,

By their eyes, their emotions,

Their intentions and whether,

They’re trying to deceive,

I always judge a person,

By their eyes,

Because I see it,

As a way to their heart,

It’s never failed me,

My lovers’ eyes are warm,

My enemies’ eyes are cruel,

My friends’ eyes bare me no ill will,

I wonder what my eyes say,

About the person living within.
