The Holy Bible

Everyday that passes by
I'm always wanting to testify
But problems from my past show up
So I'll just go visit the club
Just to have an 'awesome' hangover
And be in the local newspaper
I think about when I'll die
And silently hope it will be soon
I go to Church so I can pray
But only find, to my dismay,
A Holy Bible out on display
For none to touch
Or keep
Or take
I see a line and go to read it
"When the Spirit of the truth comes,
He will guide you into all the truth."
I hope this is a good sign
But hoping always causes bad luck
