The Invisible Ship

By Dari Poulson

The Invisible ship,

In the sky it flew,

I could only hear it,

But you looked up

And saw that ship,

And told me what you saw,

A big white hull,

The sails of gold,

The tallest mast you ever saw,

a crew of many men,

And the many ropes abroad.

You watched the ship go by,

And I just closed my eyes,

Listening to the rudder

Go swish, swish, swish,

As the invisible ship

Swam through the sky.
