THE ROLLER COASTER
By hercules
One day, a pair of eighteen-year-old brothers, called Henry and Peter, went on a roller coaster.
The brothers had just reached the right age to go on the ride.
They were very scared, like everyone else in the carts, but excited too.
As the carts jerked swiftly forwards along the track, they began the ascent.
Henry and Peter became more afraid as the carts went higher and higher.
Their hearts pounded their stomachs churned.
Higher and higher the carts went, until they reached a height of over a hundred feet.
Then the real adventure began.
The carts went down and up, up and down, winding this way and that. Three times they went in great loops.
Eventually, the carts began to slow down.
The ride was coming to an end.
When it finally did, Henry and Peter got out dizzily and staggered about.
Neither of them wanted to go on that ride again.
