"If you love me you would do it." Charlene wheedled.

"I do love you," I insisted, "but I just won’t do that." I told her.

"Please, Anthony." She begged, laying guilt on me like a lead blanket.

"Darling, I would do pretty-much anything in the world for you," I said, "but you are asking me to do something that I can’t do. I’m sorry." I told the woman I loved more than life itself.

I was adamant.I’ve always hated the damn things.

For the life of me there was no way I could remove that spider from the bath.
