The Tree's Final Night

By Willie

The tree was empty no leaf insight
until a leaf grew at the dawn of night
as I stood among the tree I heard a gentle scream

The woman screamed at the dead of night
Help Me! Help Me! Im scared tonight
As she screamed my mind raced what can I do
to change her fate

The leaves blew the ground quaked
we jumped around as the earth shaked
as we stood around tree the branches felt so free
falling through the nights sky until it reached the old lady's eye!

Author Notes: This is a poem I wrote for history
