The Wandering Wanderer
legand says
he never stays in one village for too long
his hair is unkepmt and scraggly
his beard white and long
his bare feet tough from the terrain
he looks scary to a young child
tall and menacing
full of mystery
yet if you look at his face
his warm brown eyes twinkling with laughter
his large smile ready to tell the children his new stories
of his adventurous travels
you'll see theres nothing to be afraid of
he'll bring excitement to the children
he'll bring change
he'll bring wonderful stories
of mountians and valleys
of rivers and oceans
of birds and whales
and he'll sit by the fire and renact them all
and even the adults will be captivatied
some even say he's magic
then he's gone
whisked away to another town
and you're left wondering if he was just a dream
