The Way I Think of Her
By Durandal
When she smiled at me, her face lit up like a meadow on a sunny day. She walked up to me and gave me a hug. To me she felt like soft grass, something I could hold forever.
Once she let go she looked at me with those eyes that not even the ocean could match in beauty. She stood on her toes and whispers into my ear, her voice soothing like trickling water: "I love you."
I leaned in close and kissed her softly on the forehead as I told her I loved her too. She looked at me with that smile and I felt all my worry’s melt away. At that moment, we both knew we would always be there for each other. No matter what.
