this moment

He laughs a pixie’s laugh

It’s musical and free. It’s summer.

Nothing watches over me.

It’s both freeing and musical to see

That now, nothing watches over me.

Life is filled with silent noise in here

This moment in which I dwell. I can

Never put my hands on it, each time

I go to grab it it whispers away like smoke

And it is gone already but something

Remains. What is it that remains? Well,

I can’t grab that either. I suppose that is

The beauty of it.

Back to him, to him I return.

I search for these great romantics

Nestled here and there in the life which

Is filled with noise. This is the moment

In which I dwell, but it’s not about him

It’s never about him. It’s about who I am

When I am in that moment in the life where

I am filled with noise. I think I’d rather like

The quiet. The quiet can be dull. Its dull pensiveness cuts me like hard glass dripping onto marble.

Away from him. I don’t need to think

Of him. I think of me, that was all this was about any way.
