Time's Up
Newspaper review:
College kid unexpectantly dies from unknown sources.
I toss the newspaper in the trash.
"Total bullshit," I mumble to myself. It was dark and I was alone in my small dorm that I shared with my roommate. She was out at a party somewhere on campus.
There was suddenly a knock on the door and I went to answer it. No one was on the other side and I looked down both hallways but found nothing. A white paper caught my eye before I closed it, I picked it up and it read:
Two days.
"This isn't funny!" I screamed before shutting my door.
A day later
Newspaper review:
Fatal death involving suspicious note.
"I should stop reading these," I throw it away and sit down on my bed. My eyes close and I was on the verge of falling asleep before someone banged hard on my door causing me to jump up. The banging continued and I slowly walked to it, opening it finding nothing but another white piece of paper
One day.
I ball it up and leave it out in the hallway closing my door and finally falling asleep.
The next night my roommate texted me and said she'll be home soon but I'll have to open the door since she forgot her key. I didn't read a newspaper and I was grateful because those murder stories are silly.
There was soon a knock on the door and I went to open it expecting to see my roommate but no one.
"Are you kdding me?" I pick up the piece of paper and read it.
Time's up :)
