Twice
By Oxygen
Frizzy hair lady
Riding a machine build for endurance
She is happy
She is calm
She is unaware of the fate the nature has giving her
Car light broken
Body on ground
Bike mangled
I didn’t know it would happen
I remember the sirens
Wailing like seagulls wanting to eat
Not knowing it was you, the frizzy haired lady
The one hit by fast car
You tried to stop,
You escaped death
Twice,Twice
Instead of Death it was Pain who took you
Stuck to you like glue
Twice
First the knee,
Fixed, done
Second time, the back
Still not fixed, not done
The sun cried
The moon cried
The grass cried
Hospital sheets, white and sad, twice
The X-ray machine, twice
Doctors, twice
My tears, a river of them
Words cannot explain the sight of
Death, life flying by your eyes
He took pity on you
Twice
The darkness will never go again
You escaped him, Twice
Don’t go out again, don’t meet Him again
Don’t need it a third time,
Mom
