Little joy,

Started drugs

The high

better than hugs,

Replaced the ones

he never got

Absent mom

His life

never calm,

Depressed

Underdressed,

Trying to find hope,

Needing something

to cope

Fake smiles,

In many styles,

Messy hair,

Doesn't care,

Taking coke,

It's not a joke,

He could be so much,

All it takes

is a touch,

So much potential,

And he's wasted it all,

Thrown it away,

Traded it for drugs

again today
