When You Die

By Zip017

It all started when it all ends,
It all started with a dream.
It all started with the crack of a gunshot,
It all started with me.

It all started with a bottle of whiskey,
It all started on a Thursday night.
It all started with a drunken accident,
It all started with a broken scheme.

After the shot, after my last words,
I remember everything and nothing at all.
The silver glasses and drunken bastards,
I wished I listened to mum that night.

It all started with me falling to the ground,
It all started with sounds deafening.
It all started when the colours paled,
It all started when my ears rang.

It all started as a simple feeling,
It all started like a practical joke.
It all started when you realise your gone,
It all started when you realise you’re wrong.

I remember the feeling of rising upwards,
But at the same time being on the ground.
It felt like sleep it felt like a dream,
But the edges were blurry, and my eyes were wide awake.

You feel dizzy and sleepy all at the same time,
You feel the energy leave you and separate into several small parts.
When this happens, you feel divided but in all the pieces still conscious,
And then the next thing you know you are gone.

Author Notes: I got everything here from dreams I have, they always feel so real, so I just had to write it down. thanks for reading.
