Whispers at Midnight

Feminist123Feminist123

Whispers at midnight,

I can hear them yelling in my ears,

All of my dear fears,

They're going to hurt me,

I wish I could be their escapee,

Why can't I escape,

Their hurt and hate drape.

Whispers at midnight,

I hear them when I'm sleeping,

I hear them when I'm awake,

I can see them creeping,

My life is at stake.

Whispers at midnight,

They aren't whispers,

They are yells,

They are a bunch of whimpers,

A bunch of bells.

Whispers at midnight,

They keep me awake.

All I ask for is a break.

For they are the ones in the back of my head.

The ones that make me feel dead.

Whispers at midnight,

There is no escape,

I'm stuck in their cape,

There are only my veins I could cut,

To ever stop the pain...

Author Notes: This is not a true story. We were going for something mysterious I suppose. Hope you enjoy!
