You and I

You and I.
I and you.

We are going to be kings one day,
We will never be enslaved.
When I’m with you I’m chasing a high,
The kind of high you can’t catch on your bike.
When I’m with you I’m in a white world,
Where everyone thing morphs into such a pretty smirk.
I can hear the birds sing,
I can hear the butterflies ring.
And I know you’ve never been good for me,

The way your hair drapes over your shoulders,
The way your smile can protrude any boulder.
You make me feel like I’m on top of the world,
And precisely hun sometimes I think you’re the one.
But then your foolish antics and mistakes,
Keep leaving me in a disgusted gaze.
And I return to my original position,
Where my heart becomes the opposition.
So maybe I can forget my love,
Before I am nothing but a lover’s dust.
I love you and you love me.
Happiness? Maybe…
