I enjoy this story because of how smooth the words flow together. Great job!
While definitely interesting I found this story to be a rather good angle on a normal action.

One suggestion - the 'pain' and 'again' rhyme really killed the rhythm of the poem. It made my brain stop to look over the stanza instead of praise the work itself.
Besides that, I believe you are doing great!
