To add to the beautiful style of writing, maybe you would accept some suggestion.
A few line breaks might have been given the reader the right pause.
The following line, (He traveled here every year on this same day, whether it was snowing or sweltering.) may need a rethink. On a given date of the same month, the weather would probably be the variation of the same, not the opposites like snowing or sweltering.
But, once again, thank you so much for such a beautiful piece of captured emotions.

This was really good

This story is great! It made me realized that so many people are hurting out there and im not the only one! It made me cry and it made me think of a lot. You're way of writing is incredible like really incredible. I know im really late but i love this story

Rejection, wow, there is so much that i have to say about this particular topic mostly because i have experienced it first hand and i know how that feels like. That aside, it was a brief read but very hearty. Write more if you may
