As time went by,

I have learned to fly.

Up, up, up past the sky,

Don’t you dare cry.

I will sing you a lullaby,

Now try to get some sleep,

Fall into your dreams so deep.

When you wake I will be gone,

Like the moon when comes dawn.

Do not search for me,

I will be farther away than the North Sea,

Somewhere untouched by reality.

As the time passes I will think of you,

Yes I can confirm it is true.

I can fly,

But it hurts to say good-bye.
