… dull days…

… it never gets very light…
these dull, grey short December days…

depression rules… like the heavy hand of a malevolent king
sadistically, sentencing his subjects to terminal boredom…

… revelling in their squirming frustration…
'till all imagination, colour and joy…

…all slip passed…
and sail, sail irretrievably away…
