... the blink of an eye...

… the blink of an eye…

… a flash… brief blinding light that startles the western sky…
a devils blink perhaps…
or the contemptuous spit from some god unknown

… perhaps an arcane wink…
signalling the prelude to the end…
… but wait… pause and think…

do not panic…but resolutely…
ponder… wonder and excite…
… for death… that ultimate adventure…
