ABSTRACT HISTORY

One day, a young woman, called Michelle, went to an art gallery.

The gallery was very large with stairways, corridors and numerous rooms.

In every room there were paintings, all produced in a range of mediums and styles.

There were country scenes, mountain panoramas, seascapes, rural areas, portraits.

Some of the larger paintings, were surrounded by magnificent, ornate frames.

At one point, Michelle came to a room of abstract paintings. Most of the paintings, she could make neither head nor tail of, but there was one, which did draw her attention.

A most bizarre painting it was. It showed spots of different sizes and colours, set against a midnight-blue background.

As she gazed at the painting, Michelle started to envision times from past civilizations.

The larger ones made her think of times over the last two thousand years, like Victorian, Medieval and Celtic eras.

The smaller ones brought to her mind, times in ancient Greece, Egypt, Sumeria, Mesopotamia and many

others.

Every spot reminded Michelle of a different time in Earth’s history. The smaller spot, the earlier the era.

At one point, her eyes fell upon a tiny little white spot, far smaller than the rest.

As Michelle gazed at that miniature spot, something very bizarre happened. She began to see visions of very ancient times – times set tens of thousands of years ago, right back before the dawn of antiquity itself.

She envisioned harbours, full of fine sailing ships, magnificent settlements with temples, grand palaces home to emperors, domes, towers, pyramids and market squares. She saw Arabian-like settlements, viziers, crystals, joyful outdoor festivities and celebrations, fountains, lakes, parks and areas of wonderful vegetation.

Michelle was to learn later on, that her visions, were of the long forgotten, Golden age of Atlantis.
