I'm here at this party

yet I feel all alone

a huge crowd of people

yet I'm on my own

the music is too loud

I'm lost in the crowd

trying to find my place

you say it takes two to tango

but when will I get to dance?

a man has never waltzed my way

it seems I'll never get the chance

I wish it could be different

maybe there's another way

for now I'm at this party

thinking somehow someday

I'll have someone to dance with

who won't run away
