Anxiety is a student who never can concentrate on one thing.
Her mind is constantly jumping from one thought to another, never pausing.
She rushes about like she’s running out of time.
Her dull hair is always messy and her skin pale and shallow.
She can never sit still, always something moving; a hand, a foot, a finger.
She dresses with rumpled clothes and mismatching socks.
She never sees the sun outside, as she is trapped in a dark room with all her worries.
Her family never cares about her, they try to hide her, ashamed of her.
Her only friend is the darkness, who feeds her insecurities and worries.
She’s always alone with no one to help her.
She lets blood run down her arm, tears mingling in the bloody river, to try and relive some worries.
It only works for a moment, then they come creeping back, to nest in her mind and heart.
