(Braidy's pov.)
I hand the shy girl her coffee. "How much?" She questions in a small voice. " inn the house, " she looks up at me. "You are out first customer all day." I don't add the fact that I am kind of interested in her.
She nods, turns, and walks over to one of our three dingy little tables.
The manager smiles at me, nodding. I walk over to her table a sit down across from her.
She glanced up and then looks back down at her phone. "You haven't ever been in here before," I say. She nods not glancing up. She shifts pulling the sleeves of her hoodie.
I glance at her wrists but before I can do anything further someone walks in. I pull a napkin towards, write my name and number. Then I get up and walk back behind the counter.
The next ti.so look up she's gone but so is the napkin. I cannot help but smile.
