Boop

It was a calm day at school. I went to a nice high school, and it suits me well. I also had a girlfriend, and she was sweet, really sweet in fact. But today, I had a mission. I spotted her sitting on a bench near my first class. I slowly snuck over to her. I had to be careful, or else I would spook her. Her face was nuzzled in a book, so this would be easy. Finally, I got close enough.

“Boop.” I said aloud, my index finger lightly poking her nose.

“Oh that’s it.” She said, dropping her book and standing up. I started running as fast as I could, but I could still hear her behind me.

“You’ll never take me alive!” I yell as I quickly turn a corner.

But her footsteps still chased me.

I ran in a convoluted path as twisted as I could, before I finally hit a chain-link fence. The border of the campus. Crap.

She came to a stop behind me. I turned around.

“Nowhere left to run.” She said, slowly approaching me.

“You don’t have to do this.” I said, panic in my voice.

“I think you know I do.” She said, cracking her knuckles.

She got even closer, until our faces almost touched.

She reached her hand up.

“Boop.”

She booped me and dashed off.

I waited for a second and caught my breath, before running after her.

Author Notes: I dunno. I have experience some new feelings of happiness and I'm just like "hey, what if it was a story" and then I made it into a story. I hope you enjoy, this is a first draft because I knew that if I told myself to work on it later, I would not.
