Bored

I am still a child

My whole life is in front of me

But I am already bored

I am bored at school

I am bored at home

I am bored with my mates

So we look for thrills

We smash things

We bully the weak

We mug old people

Or perhaps we smoke a cigarette

Or pop a pill of two

Or just get drunk to oblivion

Even try some drugs

So we fight among ourselves

Knife each other

But what will happen when I am older?

GOD only knows

If being bored, has not killed me by then.
