Breaking out

I grin when I spot my opportunity. I push my wheel chair forward, towards the door. My children placed me in the ridiculous elderly home, and now I'm going to escape. I slam the door open and push my chair through the doorway. A nurse runs towards me, I stick out my leg and trip him.

"Good bye losers!" I continue to push my wheel chair faster and faster, I don't know how long I'm going to last. I encounter a down hill sidewalk, a smile spreads across my wrinkled face as I launch down at high speed. I pass a family who watches me with a puzzled look on their faces. "I'm free!"
