I’ve always felt like a prisoner in my mind

The rusty bars blocking my vision

But now I’m a prisoner in my own home

The doors locks blocked my future

I’ve always never had the strength to socialise or leave my bed

But now I’m forced to and my heads a mess

In this world they say we are free

Yet we are restricted by these rules that they call guideline

And its not juts me who is suffering

It’s the voice in my head

It’s the shadows in my room

It’s the flesh on my bones

My mind being restricted by there’s 4 walls

Whilst my face being restricted by this cloth

And even though I don’t feel like a prisoner in mu own home any more

I still feel like a prisoner in my own mind.
