A Dog

I am a dog
strong, brave, and bold
I stay outside chained up
I love my human

I am sitting waiting...
I have been waiting for food
My human hasn't come out yet
I heard a loud noise earlier

A big car came earlier
I am still waiting
It has been a week
I am still waiting for my human

I figured out my chain
I ran into the house, no human
I ran to the front of the house
no human there, I ran to the road to look

all the sudden I was asleep and I saw my human
I was no longer hungry
I was no longer searching
I was no longer skinny
I was a dog
