Fly

Every day I try,

To see if I could fly.

I try to stand tall,

Only to fall.

Trying for the second time,

Only to see myself die.

Gravity is holding me,

And something I can't see.

Stress is pushing down,

So all I can do is frown,

I want to fly so far away,

To keep the demons at bay.

But they talk and chant,

Wanting me to do something I can't.

So I try one last time,

And say my final goodbye.
