Petals and Pain

"Flowers of blood

In my body, they grow

Petals and pain

Was it all worth it, though?

"Tears of diamonds

Dripping, all for a show

Red and gold

Bleeding, skin pale as snow

"Now you see me, now you don’t

You don’t see my tears of gold, you won’t

Laying my bed of blood-red roses

No matter how much I bleed, your eye closes

"I try to smile and try to breathe

But my heart aches with every beat

My eyes darkened, my breathing slowed

Until there’s nothing left but a blood rose of defeat

Author Notes: Haven't written much in a while and got inspired. This was so rushed and I am soo sorry if this is not up to my normals standards. Quarantine's got me going crazy.
