Her

it's been a year now

i'm the happiest i've been in a while

i've made new friends now

ones that care about me and enjoy my company

i've done all the things that my past self would be scared to

i wanted to make her proud

i've finally started to live my life how i wanted to

finally eating what i want, drinking what i want, not worrying about the number on the scales

i've even got a new job

making my own money, buying thing just because i can

i'm happy now

and yet sometimes i remeber the old times a year ago

and sometimes i miss the way i used to be

you never really get over the way you look at yourself in the mirror

but i've moved on

i'm much happier now

but i will never stop thinking about her
