How I Long to Fly

how I long to fly

to let the wind pick me up

and let me ride on its wings

I want to touch the clouds

sit there

watching the small little people below

stay till sundown

where the stars join me

twinkling lights

stretching into forever

I can use them as stepping stones

until I land on the moon itself

and theres sky below me

and sky above me

and I know there's no way

that gravity can claim me again
