I Am Not a Bird

I am not a bird,
Nor will I ever claim to be.
I'm not just trying to fly,
I'm trying to set my spirit free.
I've got no destination,
No place I need to be.
Therefore I can't be a bird
'Cause there's a pattern they repeat.
