Into The Emptiness (Στο Κενό)

-From my text on the Logos (The Word).

The idea that there is a hollow appearance that disguises itself behind the mask of uncertainty is revealed in the daily struggle of life with despair. It is a struggle that gradually leads into the emptiness or Kenó in Greek. It is a depth that encompasses the world that we live, and it is like a shadow that lingers in the background.

It cannot be measured solely by our senses or experiences, because it is something that is captured in the profound nature of the mind. Our thoughts reflect the expression of its presence and visibility. Suffering is a part of our life as is enjoyment. It is the finite body dwelling within the infinite nature of reality.

It is when we find ourselves within the dark chasm that is our suffering that we tend to seek answers to our questions and reasons for the continuation of our suffering. Time can only record our episodes and leave behind as a vestige, the memories that trouble us. We should hear the voice of our consciousness.

We must remember that essentially wisdom reflects our knowledge and our thoughts our minds. To be cognisant about the relevance of pain is to acknowledge that it is present, but it does not need to be pervasive upon us. Blaming ourselves or others leads to nowhere. We should concentrate more on realising the cause of our suffering.

The emptiness that affects us is one that is created from our insecurities or doubts. People cope in several ways to despair and loneliness. Some people are stoic, and others are attentive in their characters. It is the not the entrance into the depth of the emptiness that should concern us the most, but the exit that we struggle to locate on our own.

It is our pessimism that disrupts our inner peace. The mentality that we exhibit can be influenced by this pessimism. It is almost a consent to a form of nihilistic thinking. As human beings, we evolve with our surroundings. Our minds possess intellect. It is when we rationalise that we begin to understand the capability of our minds, through our intellect.

As we navigate our lives, we encounter the unexpected need for sacrifice. Not a sacrifice that will doom us, but more of one that brings us closer to our undeniable truth. The pressure of our daily lives outweighs for many people the aspiration and procurement of happiness.

Some people attest that without the presence of stability, there cannot be any plausible happiness. We should not condition our happiness to what we have not yet earned with our effort and determination, because we are not granted a perfect fate. It is the comfort zone in our minds that permits us to find inner peace.

Most individuals wake up each morning, without the certainty of living another day. The emptiness that affects us does not necessarily discriminate in its nature. It is better that we ultimately concede to the notion that we should learn to value life, with more contemplation attached to our decisions made.

There is a consequential effect to our actions. This is the reason why we should be introspective and look into the depth of our soul for answers. We tend to create our dystopian world from negative thoughts. Belief in oneself is the beginning to dealing with unnecessary burdens and guilt.

Regrets of the past only hinder the progress of the present. The belief in the Enas gives us a lasting path to enlightening our minds and discovering eudaimonia. It is we human beings that must choose the actual course of our reality, with the utilities of our wisdom and acumen.

The belief in the One feeds our wisdom with knowledge. It is the knowledge that we are not alone in our misery or uncertainty. This belief uplifts our soul and enhances the self. It also unveils the ousia from within us. In the end, we become liberated through the unification of the mind, body and soul. The One is our true liberation, not a god.
