Irresponsible Responsibilities

we affect the lives of so many others
all of our lives are intertwined
we have the responsibility to look out for our brothers
and make sure no one is left behind

to do what is right we must learn right and wrong
which we try to do in the adventure of life
but how can we do this when all sing their own song?
this is the conclusion to which i arrive:

worldviews and morals and values of mortals
will never be even close to perfect
yet even small imperfections lead to wars and hate
it seems that destruction is simply fate

we affect our lives but so do others
all of our lives are intertwined
they have the responsibility to look out for us
but ultimately it falls on us to not be left behind
