Love Letter

Now that I have your attention. Wait. And listen to me. (Also something really interesting at the end.) Today I am going to tell you about Jesus. Jesus is God who was was conceived and born by his mother Mary, through the power of the Holy Spirit and without sexual intercourse. He was God in human form and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross to pay for all of our sins. (Sins from the past and future) and rose from the dead three days later. He did this because he loves us and he wants us to have the gift of eternal life. The gift of eternal life is available to anyone who, after recognizing his own sinfulness, places his or her personal faith in Jesus Christ as the only Savior. When we sin it seperates us from God. But 1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us" If we ask him for forgiveness he WILL forgive us.

Some people think that God is an avenging God. In fact, he is quite the opposite. When you sin God wants you to run back to him! He is always there waiting for you with open arms. What you should know is that when you sin, Jesus does not love you less. And when you do not sin, he does not love you more. He is an infinite being! He is the same God today and tomorrow. His love is everlasting. I do not mean you should go and sin and take advantage of his grace and mercy. Remember there is a price to pay for your sins. We should always try to do better next time, and avoid that sin!

If you want Jesus as your Lord and saviour say this short prayer meaningfully:

God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe with all my heart that you sent your son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save me and everyone else from our sins. I accept you into my life as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for you and let your will be done in my life. Forgive me from all of my sins known and unkown Amen.
