Lost

The scars on her heart,
Deeper than those on her wrists,
Bleed with pain.
Her tears fall
And time stands still.
Too afraid to speak,
She cries quietly,
When no one is around
To hear her hurting.
The darkness surrounds her,
Chilling her to the core.
With no light to guide her,
No path to follow,
She loses her way.
In the darkness,
She slowly fades away.
