He's in love with someone who will never love him,
She's pretends she's proper and prim,
And he buys into the foolishness hanging on every word,
But little does he know she's more devil than lord,
She lies to his face and flirts for fun,
He can't even tell that he needs to stop and run,
There's something peaceful in watching his demise,
Like watching a pheonix die before it's rise,
Except I know he won't come back,
For wisedom is something he lacks,
But how am I supposed to tell a dear friend
That the woman he loves will give him a bitter end?
He already knows she is no good,
But he will never abandon her like he should,
Instead he will find himself alone,
Because I have not stayed around that chance is blown.
I wonder what it will be like for you,
When you lose her and look around to find I'm gone too
I hope it's as bitter to see,
As it was for me
