We walked down this lane, side by side. I thought you'd always be there for me. I thought you would stay through thick and thin. I was half right, you stayed for the thin. You stayed when things were easy. When I was happy. Than as we kept walking the lane, you started to realize things were becoming hard. That we were coming to the thick. You realized that I, myself was depressed.
And you left.
You let go of my hand that you had been holding this whole time; and ran.
In awe I stood there. Stunned at what had just happened. Realizing you had left me. I than started to run. I tried to find you. I ran down the lane searching. Than I saw this huge sign. It read, "Dead End".
I broke down, fell to my knees, tears filling my eyes.
Our Lover's Lane, had come to a dead end..
