Master of Nothing

I've tried so hard to be perfect,

The image of the perfect daughter

The perfect sister

The perfect friend,

And yet with no return,

Its a wound that will never heal

A burn,

I've never been the best,

Always second,

And that makes me worse than

the rest,

Almost great,

But not quite there,

I'm missing whatever it is,

That makes people care,

What makes someone better

than exceptional,

I've learned so many things,

And tried my best,

I'm constantly trying,

And yet they treat me like a pest,

I don't know what I'm missing,

Why I can't get it,

Been a failure since birth,

They make me seem disgusting

Because the jack of all trades

But master of nothing,

Isn't worth anything

At all
